World Health Day was Tuesday April 7, but we’re spreading awareness all week. Our mission to expand the global marketplace for our artisans reaches far beyond the beautiful jewelry they produce. The opportunity of earning a fair wage for their hard work allows them to improve their quality of life. This means clean water, safe food, education, shelter, and so much more for her and for her family.
The World Health Organization estimates that over 200 diseases are caused by unsafe food and over 2 million deaths occur every year from contaminated food or drinking water. Let’s help end this unsafe cycle of contaminated food and drink.
