The start of something new

Ever feel like it’s too late to start something new? No such thing. As long as you are alive, anything is still possible. Take a look at some big names who accomplished big things later in life.

There’s no doubt that success takes hard work and determination. Some of the world’s most well-known names didn’t find their calling until what some would call “later in life.” Harrison Ford was a carpenter until his 30’s. Richard Branson failed at 3 businesses prior to founding Virgin Airlines. J.K. Rowling was a single mom on welfare until age 31. Mark Zuckerberg failed at 2 companies before starting Facebook. Mary Kay Ash sold books door-to-door until age 45. Bill gates failed at his first company before founding Microsoft.

Don’t compare your successes or failures to others, your journeys and destinations are completely different. Your story is your own and you are stronger than you think.

A failure is a First Attempt In Learning. As J.K. Rowling said, “It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.” So get out there. Make mistakes. Try new things.
