With 2017 nearly behind us, we wanted to take a reflective look at what has been to set us up for a great year ahead. Sometimes it’s easier to see the negatives in life, but they can help us to remind us of the good that surrounds us each day.
We’re grateful for:
Early wake-ups, from children we love.
A house to clean, our safe place to live.
Laundry to do, we have clothes to wear.
Dishes to wash, our bellies are full.
Crumbs on the floor, from sharing meals with loved ones.
Grocery shopping, funds to provide for those we care for.
Toilets to clean, we have indoor plumbing.
A noisy house, people we love in our life.
Endless homework questions, from growing minds.
Tiredness after a long day of work, we’re alive and well.
