Sunglasses
We’re excited to be able to offer a lifetime warranty on our regular stock sunglasses (items bought in our Sample Sales are excluded from this offer). Should your sunglasses ever need to be repaired, simply email us a note with a description of the problem and proof of purchase information. We’ll provide return instructions for you to send the entire product along with a $19.00 money order for processing, handling, and return shipment cost. If the original retail cost of your sunglasses was $89.00 or above, the repair or replacement processing fee will increase to $39.00 at 30 days and beyond from the original purchase date. If your sunglasses came with a bamboo box, please do not return the box to us when redeeming your warranty. We recommend that customers ship returns in a way that is insurable and trackable as we are not responsible for returns damaged or lost in the mail.

Fair trade
To ensure that each artist is fairly compensated for their time, labour, and talent, we never mandate prices. Our partners are free to set their own prices and change them at will to help ensure a stable income. We’re committed to making our products in a way that is good for people and good for the environment while following fair trade practices.

Shipping
We are able to ship addresses in the United States, US territories, and APO military addresses. Shipping is a flat rate $7.95 for all orders under $78.99 and is free for orders $79.00 and above, except when noted. We encourage customers to earn free shipping on their order by adding at least $79 in retail value of merchandise to their cart (this amount is calculated after any credits, coupons, discounts, sales, etc. have been applied); to honor our commitment to eco-friendly practices, we reserve the right to combine multiple orders to the same shipping address without an issued credit. We are not able to ship internationally at this time. Our gift cards are delivered electronically and do not incur shipping costs. Gift cards may be purchased in a checkout that also contains physical merchandise; however, gift cards will not accumulate towards our free shipping minimum order amount during checkouts when purchased in combination with physical merchandise.

Customers are responsible for entering a valid shipping address at checkout. Should a parcel be returned back to us for any reason, the customer will be responsible for additional shipping costs to redeliver their parcel to a new address, we will hold the parcel for 15 days from our initial outreach to the customer informing them of the returned parcel. If a customer enters an incorrect shipping address and a successful delivery is made to that address (as deemed by a delivery scan from the shipping carrier and/or without a return of parcel by the carrier), I Thought of You will not be responsible for replacing the items or providing a refund or credit. The customer should work with the shipping carrier for a resolution.

Order processing time can take up to 3 business days. Extended processing times may occur during especially high order volumes and if an item is on back order. Shipping information will be automatically sent shortly after an order leaves our hands.

Orders placed through our website, through a Curator, or through another method are all processed and shipped the same manner. You will receive a confirmation order after we receive it and your order will arrive directly from us.

Backorders and out of stock
We make every effort to ensure our product line is in stock and ready for shipment. If for some reason an item ordered is not currently available, we will contact you to resolve the matter.

Editing or cancelling an order after checkout 
Typically we cannot accommodate changing or cancelling an order after your checkout has been completed. If you'd like to inquire about a change or cancellation, send an email to care@ithoughtofyou.com as soon as possible. Please keep in mind we are a small team and may not see your email prior to completing your shipment and cannot guarantee your edit or cancellation can be honored.

 

Returns for retail purchases

 

I Thought of You will accept the return of unworn and unused product in salable condition, the product(s) must be received back to us within 10 days of delivery as indicated by the postal service delivery scan. All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization. To receive an RMA, please contact care@ithoughtofyou.com with your invoice and a detailed description of your return request. Product must be accompanied by its original proof of purchase and include all packaging. Apparel items must be in original unopened packaging with accompanying cards and tags attached and in new condition. We’ll be happy to issue a product credit so you can pick out something else, minus a restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price and minus any commissions owed or paid on the product. Shipping charges are not refundable. If your order included free shipping, our standard shipping charge of $7.95 will be deducted from your credit amount. We do not accept back refused deliveries and recommend that customers ship returns in a way that is insurable and trackable as we cannot responsible for returns damaged or lost in the mail. Returns cannot be accepted on items received more than 10 days after the delivery scan. Lost items, items damaged due to normal wear and tear and/or neglect are not covered under our return policy.


Certain items may not be eligible for return. This includes gift cards, items marked “Final Sale” within the item description, items we no longer stock, items purchased with reward credit, Sample Sale styles, and Starter Kits/Sample Bundles. Due to the limited nature of items in holiday gift collections, all sales are final are not eligible for return or exchange.

Sales, promotions, or discounts are not valid on prior purchases and will not be honored retroactively. Returns for Cash + Carry purchases

 

All Cash + Carry orders are subject to shipping costs determined by weight and destination. These bulk purchases are final and not eligible for returns.
