How to Stay Engaged and Interested with your Minimalist Sustainable Wardrobe

The single-most questioned thing about minimalist wardrobes is this: I’m going to get bored wearing the same few things over and over! Presentation is important, and we love to communicate our personalities through our wardrobe. You can still do this while keeping your wardrobe minimalist and sustainable! Here are two simple, yet effective tips and tricks:

Don’t Go Completely Neutral

In our first post in this series, we discussed why it’s important that everything pairs with each other. The knee-jerk reaction may be to immediately invest in all black, white, and neutral pieces. This can be great if that’s what you genuinely love, but if your favorite color is red - buy a red tee shirt! Just make sure it mixes well with the other neutrals (or further pops of color) in your capsule wardrobe.

Accessories, Accessories, Accessories

Another way to prevent boredom with your minimalist wardrobe is accessorize! They take up very little room and a chunky necklace or fun scarf is the perfect way to make an outfit entirely new with almost no effort. It’s also an easy way to switch out outfits seasonally without relying on buying new clothes!
